in grand teton national park moose are abundant. this guy was seen and studied along the well-named "moose wilson" road (those are in fact the names of the towns that the road connects). i got to photograph him approaching, going past and finally moving away. he was entirely unperturbed by my presence but at one point he did stop and look back. this expression seemed to say "stay back" (with a 600mm lens i WAS well back), but it's fun to imagine that the bull was being followed by an inquisitive wolf.
