fox in waning light
a fox is partly obscured behind a lone tree, and peeks out shyly, however the morning light has revealed him/her in a shaft light across the flowered meadow. red foxes are common throughout the northern hemisphere with the exception of the arctic, and this guy i photographed right here in SW colorado-- though something about the picture reminds me of italy-- it may be the proliferation of cypress trees here (the pointy ones across the distant ridge).
