t's not a favored plant by ranchers--it's quite poisonous to most grazing critters-- but for a week or so out west there was a major bloom of this colorful plant. there's a fence line and a barn up on the hill. this picture was built to be a balanced "mate" for the superbloom hilltop farm picture seen also on this page of my art.
