near cottonwood falls, the center of tallgrass prairie national park and preserve in central kansas-- i guess this is part of the "preserve" given that it's used for haying. not sure. anyway, it's a nice spot at early morning with a trace of mist coming from the treeline. that's usually a clue that there is a creek there too.
