i manipulate all of my pictures typically, but this one, not so much. it was dawn along the arkansas river south east of salida in colorado when i espied a group of bighorn sheep ewes and kids moving slowing along the rock faces of the canyon wall, high above the water. i shot dozens of pics of the ungulates before the light arrived on the scene. here is a ewe just as the first rays of dawn light her face.
