building this picture i found that i liked the gauzy look of many layers of images in various opacities, and i've always enjoyed the old fashioned cut and paste methods of graphic design. here is a lone tree along a lake shore in winter with simple pastel tones; what makes it more interesting in my opinion is the stack of textures that seem to naturally frame the central subject.
