a group of pronghorn out on the kansas high prairie. there are a pair of males with the longer horns, the females have horns but diminutive. it's a "bluebird" day out on the plains with puffy clouds and full sun. in western kansas i was pleased to see ironweed, a flowering plant i knew when i lived in ohio.
