muhly grass is a common plant around here, turning rosy pink in late summer. it's wispy strands form in dense soft clouds and when more conventional grasses and bullrush push through, it creates a colorful contrast. here i've drawn in a couple of dragon flies in order to animate the scene somewhat. a lively summer meadow.
