another piece for the goldleaf series, conceptually to emulate the textural treatment of classic japanese gold-leafing techinques on panel. this is a gnarly old cottonwood tree that has appeared in other pictures of mine... it's growing still over in the utah desert. this one has a northern flicker off to one side.
