a red barn among out-buildings is set into an idyllic scene with snowy mountains overlooking hay bale filled pastures stretching to autumn aspen trees. the foreground is a flowered bend in a gravel road along a fence line. a bird is shown, and if you saw that bird you'd want to report it to the rare bird alert: it's a scissor-tailed flycatcher which normally inhabits open prairie and not mountainous areas. still here in colorado there are fairly frequent sightings of this bird more typical of texas, oklahoma and kansas. you're very lucky indeed.
