this has to be a cultivated iris, but i found it deep in hawkin's preserve near mesa verde national park-- how did it get there? i love iris' anyway, but this one is very special.

Well done! Iris are pretty hardy I've found them near old homesteads that have been adbandoned for 50 yars or more. Yours will likley remain a mystery.
