a pair of rufous hummingbirds are shown, neither are adult males, but whether they're juveniles or females, i'll let the ace birders decide. where i live in SW colorado we have many "green backed" morphs, in fact they may comprise a majority. as for the roses, i don't know the variety but they're gorgeous and also pretty common here. i've kept the background to the minimum with a lot of white negative space and just a touch of texture.
