the light of a late spring dawn warms the meadows dewy tall grass as a dog explores the textured greenscape. we have a fenced, six acre refuge for dogs in the hills near dolores, colorado and daisy mae is one of our senior dogs. this is an elaboration of the earlier piece of the same name, but daisy mae faces toward the sun and the grasses are spangled with daisies.
