i failed to make note of what these guys are at the moab giants park which features apparently lifesize models of various dinosaurs. it appears from looking at the website that some of the ancient animals of the jurassic are based on mere tracks-- so how they could surmise the shape of the specimen remains mysterious to me. certainly the coloring, specific superficial appearance and skin textures would have to be more or less guessed. that said, the artists do a great job. these guys appear to be predators based on the teeth, but other than that, i can only guess...
