they keep talking about closing the moose-wilson road in jackson hole: maybe they've done it by now: it was a key "back" road through grand teton national park but it's popularity eventually led to it being severely restricted. that's good for the wildlife which is the bottom line, but probably puts more tourist traffic along crowded roadways elsewhere. this handsome bull was seen along that corridor and sure enough a crowd developed to photograph him as he emerged from the open meadows where ranching is still going on. i hope the old guy is still doing well.
